I'm starting to get over The Division already. People complain about lack of content in Destiny, but Destiny has wayyyyy more than The Division. I've been playing Division since it's release, it's been fun, but the side missions and encounters are complete repeats, just higher level enemies. It's too easy to get the higher end gear. The missions are great fun, but how many times can you replay them? Patrolling is pointless and dull. The Dark Zone is fun, but stupidly set up for solo players. The Division will 100% not rack up as many hours as Destiny. In 18 months no one will be playing.

It really depends on the content updates tbh and at this stage the same goes for destiny. I'm really hoping the competition makes both games better than they otherwise would've been. I love destiny and I am very much enjoying division as well and I want them both to see their potential.

I hope so, but even though Destiny does have its flaws (not as many as some would have you beleive), Division feels a lot more like a game that's incomplete, and definitely doesn't feel like it's going for a 12 month lifespan, and I cared about the story even less than I did about Vanilla Destiny.

You have to admit that the replayability of the dark zone is better than pre-VoG Destiny

I have to disagree. Destinys PvP for me is proper PvP where as the DZ is optional PvP. I guess it's matter of opinion, but The Division isn't really doing it for me, and the most annoying thing for me is, it's suffering a lot of the same problems Destiny does, but at an almost accelerated level.

I was thinking from a non typical PvP perspective. I do admit that Division should have PvP and without it it'll get boring more quickly in times of few updates.

Once you gear up enemies go down with 1/3 of a clip or a couple sniper hits to the face.

I'm seeing that's a slight dig at Destiny. But the same people who bitch about Destiny for exactly what you just said, are defending The Division. Hating Destiny became so bandwagon half the people didn't even know what their actual problem was.

Lol no sarcasm there, I got bored of division very fast, just not my type of game that I can play long term. Probably the 3rd person that ruins it for me
