Here's my ways The Division can learn from Destiny. [b]Change 1: Match making[/b] - I don't want to walk up to a mission start and be able to start hosting an instance or joining another with match making. Make me go to a website and post on forums to find partners is I want to experience the game with others. [b]Change 2: Too much content[/b] - Ubisoft, you done goofed, I'm 40 hours in and still have a good chunk of content including side missions and main story missions. It should only take me 8 hours to finish the story and hit the level cap Remove 75% of the content and sell it as DLC. [b]Change 3: Speaking of caps[/b] - where's my currency cap? I've earned 75,000 of the in game currency and some people have hundreds of thousands. Uh ... did you forget to add a cap or something? [b]Change 4: Locations[/b] - The playable area is too big, make it a lot smaller and add a bunch of baby bumpers that keep you confined to narrower environs. [b]Change 5: emotes [/b] - I need them, I want to pay money to have my character slow clap. Luke Smith is so disappointed in you. [b]Change 6: light level[/b] I'm uncomfortable about being able to reach the maximum level through playing the game and earning experience. I feel like my level should be tied to randomly receiving the appropriate gear. [b]Change 8: Other[/b] - Weapon shaders: yuck. Gear trading: gross. A shooting range? Can you say [i]gimmick[/i]! RPG elements: too complicated, need to be dumbed down. In-game lore: nope, just nope.

  • There is a cap 1000 Phoenix credit and I believe 2 million regular credits and dz credits. I have hit the Phoenix cap and am close to the regular cap

    Matchmaking was good. Content was about the same length though stretched out cause it took you longer to level up. Caps idk about this one I just have a lot of crap. Playable area is huge cause you got to run everywhere. Emotes were good. But as far as the loot system, crafting is just to easy and with a game with no endgame right now I need so rng to to keep me playing this. Shaders were good. Lore was good. Dark zone needs tweaking. The endgame slight really hurt this game tho.

  • Regarding the content: I thought Destiny Vanilla's story missions were bland and repetitive. The Division somehow made missions more boring. Every mission is go to this place and either collect x, defend x, or rescue x. The bosses make Destiny's bosses look like the most complex bosses ever made. Every boss is just a regular enemy with much more health and damage output. The only one different is the final boss, a helicopter, that was still super boring to fight. But, even the missions are nowhere near the blandness of the side missions. Sure, some of them are quite interesting, specifically the missing person ones. Every other one, however, never changes. They are more bland and boring versions of the regular missions. So, sure, you might have a LOT of missions to go through, but it's the same exact things every time. This isn't a defense of Destiny, either. Both games had almost the exact same problems at launch, but Massive should have known better and learned from Destiny's mistakes.

    Both games did pretty much the same thing if you watched any e3 trailers of the division the darkzone in the trailer was like 3 times as big as the dark zone now as well as the pve area surrounding it I've played both games and I've been playing the division and enjoying it for the most part but each game has flaws and both games did a lot of the same things as far as hyping them up and then not delivering. And as far as reaching max level in the division it's a joke you can reach level thirty and go into the dark and get completely destroyed by another level thirty who has better gear giving them double your firepower health or skill power and there's no way to tell how strong another player is in the division either

  • Loving the Division so far but will play devil's advocate and mention that they're coming out with gear score. Sounds similar to light level. That being said, in April, The Division is adding trading, so there's that.
