Well something needs to be put forth to stop the popularity of sniping. The flinching is a joke and the scopes are too short range. Lately I've been going shot gun and it's been a breath of fresh air. I just with others would follow

Dude, the scope flinch was increased in 2.0 and it is pretty damn chaotic now. This is confirmation bias. You don't realize when you flinch a sniper, but you remember when the flinching sniper gets a lucky shot.
