What about only descoping after x consecutive hits in a time frame or at a certain range? If you're being wailed on with an auto rifle from ten feet away, you should descope, that should be a matchup you almost never win. But if you're at range, snipers should be king and win those encounters

Some suggested de scope when shields are down, I thought that was pretty good idea.
