Treads Upon Stars is very similar. The main difference if the way they feel. Treads feels more like an actual gun, instead of some weird sci fi weapon.
If you really want a change, start using hand cannons. Your approach to fighting will have to totally change. There are some great ones out there.

I use Imago all the time, but it has a roll more similar to Ace of Spades. First Curse is my favorite. In PvE, you can kill most enemies in one shot. It's tough to use in PvP, but it's top tier if you learn to use it right.
