Exotic chest on the dreadnought!!!
Hello Guardians
I'm looking for answers.
Does anyone remember when Bungie twitch reveal of The Taken king? There was a chests on dreadnought that rewarded a Gjallarhorn to the player opening it.

Now, did anyone ever get exotics drops from these chests.
What's the location of this particular chest?
I only got hadium flakes and rare engram for opening random chests.
For sure nobody would get a Gjallarhorn because it's not year 2 weapon.
I'm not talking about raid chests, as they showed we could get these exotics on patrol mode.
Anyone with any ideas??

3 RisposteAll of the named Dreadnaught Chests have a chance to drop exotic items. I'm not sure if it is limited in any way. Get Wormsinger Rune > Activate Wormsinger Rune > Kill Hive Boss > Get Wormfeeder Rune > Feed Wormfeeder Rune > Turns into Key of "" > Find Chest > Use key. Also Scent of the Worm Chest Also Taken Consumption Chest Also Skyburner's Chest Also Agonarch Rune Chest All have a chance to produce exotic items, at least once

I think if there's anything we've come to learn about Bungo is to not trust shit they reveal in videos. Cough E3 cough.

2 Rispostehonestly they probably have a higher drop rate for exotics in their own studio the chances of one dropping from any chest is so low it's almost insulting to players whom farm I've opened over 4000 chests and none of them has so much as even produced a legendary engram all I get is material hadium flakes or an occasional blue engram or decrypted blue engram(s') it's f-king sad. I've lost all faith in these redundant hype trailers their epic bull shiftery(not getting in trouble for writing a curse word thanks) my word of advice is don't believe them don't put any faith in it this way "IF" something positive does occur in game you'll feel happier about it.

No the chest in the video was a standard chest that didn't even require a "key" as the better chests require to open. Also, there are no exotic drops from any of the 2 types of chests on the dreadnought. In the raid there is a chest that has the possibility of dropping exotics though. This video was a hype video.

It looks like the one underneath where you spawn in on the dreadnaught patrol. As soon as you spawn in, run left down to the lower level and there will be a door behind you when you land. I have only gotten hadium flakes from it though
