Here's my thoughts Mr Taco. I love this game. More for the gameplay than anything else. I did take 3 months off too which helped immensely. That being said it's not perfect. I personally think Bungie is paying the price for dealing with Activision. I think with Activision's deadlines and the initial success of this franchise, Bungie's hands are tied on the direction of this franchise. We all remember the initial reveal of this game and just how great the concept seemed, but then also the alleged "major overhaul" just prior to release. IMO, Destiny is still hurting from that. Destiny and Bungie would have been much better off had this been an Xbox exclusive and if Bungie just got to do their game their way. I also think that was impossible since it didn't have "Halo" in the title. I think there is a glimmer of hope that one day some part of this game will be that hyped up glory we all wanted pre release, but until then, I'm just gonna have a blast with this one.
