Since I stopped trying to play it like the rest of the team (rift camping etc) and started playing tactically (get near the spark, and either grab the spark, or run as a blocker/sacrifice for the spark runner) been getting much better. Also don't care about K/D. The objective is to score, having a 5.0+ k/d and no runs/captures means epic fail.
TL:DR Protect the runner at all costs, k/d is unimportant

Thanks dude. Play the objective is what I try. Funny thing is, I usually end up near top of leaderboard because you score more for doing what the game requires not seeking personal glory.

I grabbed one earlier and thought the guy next to me had it stood there for 30 seconds wondering why everyone kept running away towards the rift. Lol, got a funk out it though, everyone else had been killed off.

Ive had a few where i thought i had it and got to the spark to ignight and was like...um opps...bellend!
