Penalty for leaving a match early.....
So IB Rift is a bit of a gong show. Some like it, some hate it, that's not what this about. I have played a lot of IB solo and some in a fire team over the last 3 days and about 40% of the matches I am put into solo are in progress and a re total blow outs. People are getting their 5 medallions and once they are in a match and getting spanked they quit and go looking for another...screwing everyone else in the lobby. Needs to be a penalty instituted for dropping early. Either the rep equivalent of a medallion or actually losing a medallion if you have one(or more) in your inventory.
I understand that people with legitimate connection issues will also be punished but you should'nt be playing online MP games with a 1mb connection.

There's no incentive to waste my time in a game I have no chance of winning. Why stay till I get a medallion and a weapon/armor part when I could leave and find a game I might win? Lets say I spend 2 minutes finding a match, playing it, ultimately deciding the match is lost based on a number of observations and quitting to find another game. I do this 3 times total wasting 6 minutes. The 4th game has a chance for a win. I stay, play and win. Takes 8 minutes. By the time I finished the winning game I've spent 14 minutes. After all that, I spent 14 minutes to get (making up numbers for ease) 100 IB rep. If I stayed in the first game, I would've wasted 10-12 minutes for 80 IB rep and started another game that may or may not be won. For 2 extra minutes, I gained 20 more rep. Plus I sometimes get lucky and have 2-3 games in a row that are wins and that just adds more time I can spend jumping and still have a net gain. When it comes down to it, I'm not wasting my time to get a medallion that's worth less than a normal win when I can jump from game to game to find a win. Especially since Rift is an absolute ass game mode and is not fun for me to play in any way, shape, and/or form. In conclusion, I play games for my enjoyment not others. Your experience and fun is not my concern.
