I see you do not play a Titan. Your reaction is understandable but it also demonstrates your lack of understanding. Like blade dancer Fist forces you to get up close and personal, no titan really wants to panic smash, we would prefer to run into a group and ruin their day or disable a super trying to run wild. I have been killed many times during the animation when I thought I shouldn't and also was unable to kill many whom I thought should have died in their animation. It is the last super you should be complaining about, I could give you several examples but you can realize it on your own if you choose to look at all the supers without the frustration you feel for getting tooled by fist. As a hunter and warlock you have the luxury of distance other than blade dancer which requires the same stones to use as fist. My guess is you favour gunslinger over blade dancer, because if you danced the blade more you would understand the risk and reward involved with closing with the enemy.
