To some extent, it doesn't. If your team coordinates well, you can definitely win while losing the gun battles. But I play solo 90% of the time, and so don't communicate with my teammates. I'm not complaining about that, because I *could* find a clan/others to play with, but when I want to play solo... yes, K/D definitely impacts matches.
