Use what you want nobody cares, nor should you care what anyone else uses. Unfortunately in order to give yourself the best chance you need to play the meta weapons. If you purposely put yourself at a disadvantage by not following it, good for you, your a god amongst men (or insert whatever rubbish you were hoping for by making this post) but you can't expect the whole community to do the same.
