I'm a Playstation guy, and I still don't think IB needed to be extended. This is simply a "shit happens" situation that was out of Bungie's control. If this was another full blown "hacker" attack type thing that brought down both Xbox and PSN, like Christmas a year or two ago, then yeah, they probably would have extended it. Like that time Xur was extended, I'm pretty sure both platforms had been down prior to that extension. Shrug it off, and next time IB is up remember that these things can happen and maybe don't wait until the last possible minute.
