[i] Her chest hurts,and she swallows hard,blinking , she takes a long breath[/i]

[i] The marks seem to grow transparent, and eventually invisible.[/i] "They were payment." [i] He says, his tone of voice returning to normal as he drops his shirt back down and turns to face her.[/i]

" Payment for what? [i] her voice hardens slightly, at the thought that someone has hurt him.[/i]

"One of them was for the Malovos I gave you yesterday." [i]He says, placing his hands on her hips.[/i] "The other is for where I'm about to take you."

[i] She falls silent ,looking at him,but she locks her thoughts away ,giving him a sad smile kisses him lightly on the cheek and looks at the floor[/i]

[i] He smiles and returns her kiss, teleporting with her. They land in what is a room with golden and silver floors, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The room is about the size of an average ballroom. Random gems seem to decorate columns surrounding the area. Rubies, amethysts, diamonds, etc. in the middle of the room is a table with two chairs, fancy looking wood with a black table cloth and candles. Overall the room is dimly lit, but the most noteable things are for one, at the back of the room is a large red throne flanked by torches which sits empty, and the fact the walls are all glass, staring out into the ocean; they were underwater. Mythical and real creatures swam by the glass. Monster squids, sea serpents, colorful fish, the like. [/i]

[i] She looks around, her eyes wide like a child who has just stepped into a fairy story , saying nothing she turns to look around her, it takes her several minutes before she is ready to speak.[/i] " Lance May I'm going to kill you," [i]her voice still quiet and somewhat awestruck[/i] bringing me here dressed like this" [i]she scowls a little ,then looks at him,staring into cool blue eyes,[/i] " or at least I wld if I didn't love you so goddamn much." [i] she sighs[/i]

She has vibrant red eyes, complimenting scarlet hair. Dressed with her hair flowing down her shoulders and black heels, she walks towards the pair. Lance eyes her with a glare that could melt steel. [/i] "Light...this is Apollymi. The Atlantian Goddess Of Destruction." [i] The woman stops in front of the pair.[/i] "Indeed I am. And your in my throne room, in Atlantis, thanks to your boyfriend here. He paid a...fair price for you two to have dinner here..that and my flowers. I'm the only person in the universe who can create those, and they're just gorgeous don't you say? Something about a rose with the color of death..." [i] She walks around Lance, trailing a finger over his back where the sword slashes are and he flinched, with a chuckle from Apollymi.[/i]

[i]Light ,always a consumate actress when it comes to disguising her true feelings, smiles gratefully[/i] " well then, I should thank for the flowers , they really are exquisite"

"Thank Lance hon. He's the one who let me cut him up for them. I get off on that sort of thing." [i] She chuckles and Winks at Light.[/i] "Have a good dinner hon." [i] she vanishes in a cloud of red mist.[/i]

[i] Light is stunned into silence, she swallows hard blinking back the prickling in her eyes. She smiles at Lance , hiding her despair, desperate to get out of here as quickly. They sit down to eat, she can't , she just moves the food around her plate with her con artists smile, she usually reserved for marks. She feels wretched knowing he did that for her , she stops looking at the food as she feels bile rise in her stomach. [/i]

"I shouldn't have let you know what I did for this." [i] He says quietly. [/i]

"Come on. Let's leave." [i] He stands up and makes a motion for her hand.[/i]

[i] She wants to feel relieved,instead she feels guilt ridden. He's done it all for nothing . She tries to blink the tears away, staring at the floor she takes his hand her breath shaking[/i]

[i] He takes her hand and they're teleported to his ship, into his bedroom. He wraps her in a hug and holds her.[/i]

[i] She leans into him,afraid to touch him, incase she hurts him, burying here face in the crook of his neck, her body shakes . She keeps her eyes closed to her tears, [/i]

"It's okay Light." [i]He holds her tighter to him.[/i]

[i]She doesn't say anything still leaning into him, shaking lightly,[/i]

[i] He continues to hold her, walking over to his bed and sitting down. He takes her arms and wraps them around his back, not flinching and nuzzling his face in her hair.[/i]

"Light." [i] He puts his fingers under her chin and tilts her face up to look at him.[/i]

[i] She doesn't fight him but she keeps her eyes cast down[/i]

[i] He sees the edge of her eyes, the tears threatening to spill over.[/i] "Light, why are you crying?" [i]He asks quietly.[/i]

[i]She just looks at him, unsure what to say or how to say it .[/i] " I know you care....just please don't...you don't have to prove anything. I can't even find words to describe how much that hurt me, or how bad it feels knowing you didnt mean it, ..... [i] Her words trail off[/i]

[i] He holds her tighter.[/i] "If it's any consolation babe, it wasn't the worst that's ever been done to me." [i] He says with a chuckle.[/i] "I'm sorry."
