I did a quick playthrough my first go with the hood. Then I made a second character with a melee build (which is sick) to do the institute. Now I'm playing a survival run with a rifle/luck build. My advise, run another character with a totally different build. Do another faction and take it slow. Explore a little, do some side stuff and take advantage of the stuff you know about from your first run. Use your first character if you hear about some cool side stuff you want to check out (cabot house, saw maze, uss constitution, the murder house ect).

If you do that you're gonna get bored. Nothing worse than having so much done and then starting over and realize all of that work is gone and you have to do it all again. And you'll have to do it 4 times to get all the endings. That's why I do literally everything the game has to offer up to where I have to make a game changing choice. I'll make the choice and finish the game that way and then I won't play for a long time. Then maybe a year later I'll come back to it when I've forgotten most stuff and everything's fresh-ish and pick a different ending to play and different build. Or you could save before you make a choice, play to the ending, reload, pick a different ending, reload, picked a different ending, rinse and repeat.

I finished with the hood then made a new guy then stopped playing because I forgot how much pipe pistols sucked.

Have you done everything you've wanted to do yet?

I did a hard save right before I built the teleporter so I could do each ending.

Sniper and melee builds are fun. Do 2 playthroughs with different endings as one of those. [spoiler]sniper builds in fallout still are the most superior class type [/spoiler]

But if u want you can restart when you run out of quests and get bored i started my 2nd charectar around lvl 50 but i still play both
