Orbs mate. More than twice or thrice a game. Extra mobility means he does run faster than me. And the "talking to myself" was just me covering each answer you guys might have. And defeating a super isn't as simple as shooting him.
As for landfall, yeah it doesn't nuke the map but not every map has sight lines like crossroads so you don't really see him unless he is near you in which case you die.
"Shoot him" yeah sure if that one worked I wouldn't be here seeking advice now would I?
Then again you don't have a character over 300 so what do you know regarding this game besides failed attempts at iron banner and vanguard strikes?

If you keep his teammate's supers down, it works. Defeating a super is quite simple. It's just a guardian who suddenly turns into his subconscious dreams. I do know lots about this game, I've been playing since October 2014 with a large gap due to lack of content from Feb - April. I mostly play the game for fun, and if you were to look at my recent games you'd find I've been helping some Xmas noobs with stories and stuff recently, even with Iron Banner. It's fun, and I don't really care about my light level, because from salty hunter to supreme sith warlock, we all know there's no point.
