Lets talk about Stormtrance
Yes I'm crying. Yes I'm complaining. No this isn't b8. And yeah I just happen to be a hunter. However I am also looking for an answer to a question. How do I kill a stormcaller with no super?
"Shoot him, huntard!": Well I tried that. He shocked me and killed me.
"No, dumbass. You gotta shoot him in the head with a sniper": Hmm. Tried that too. He teleported through it and killed me again.
"Are you retarded? You got to shoot him while he activates it." Good idea! Oh wait. Unlike any other super he attacks everyone near him with landfall which has a hidden perk of blinding nearby foes.
"Get those huntard loving teammates of yours to shoot him together." Well that didn't work either cause one guy got hit and it chained to everyone and killed us. Then he did it again since he still had time.
"Just run away, stupid." Well I tried to but he is faster than me and the super lasts for about 20 seconds.
So did I leave any viable options out? And since its temporary, heavy doesn't count. That lightning sound it sending me away like sunbreaker did

U cant sit stil and shoot lol cuz them storm just hold down the button and hope to get someone lol so use shade step .....i use the supercell and reks them before they shock me ^_^

11 RisposteOK while my instincts were reaching for the troll button I fought against it and read your post, the whole thing, no seriously I did. I main a warlock and use a three sub classes however I have one of each type of character I have a hunter and a titan also. So let me draw a comparison that may help you as a huntar......hunter... (see I'm behaving). Storm Trance has about as much armor on it as golden gun, seriously though storm trance as far as I can tell does not receive any significant armor boost that would increase its survivability. It really is as simple as shooting the storm trance warlock. Know your maps and the terrain and don't panic simply keep your distance and shoot most of my storm trance kills come from getting them while the guardians are unaware or distracted. If I activate storm trance at a distance with an opposing guardian looking at me I'm dead. You say that a warlock in trance is faster than you then honestly I'm sorry but you are huntering wrong (huntering is a word now deal) nothing should be faster than you if you are a hunter [u]especially[/u] a tranced warlock. Now of course there's more to it and there are juicy warlock secrets I won't tell but that's the basics of it if you have anymore honest questions about combating storm trance feel free to ask. Also some of you ask why is a warlock helping a huntar....hunt[b]er[/b]... (see I'm still doing good). The answer is because the nerfing of storm trance is unnecessary. People are simply failing to adapt to something mildly challenging and rather than rise to the challenge they sit and complain. Hopefully with a little help people can realize their just being lazy and need to step up their game.

Stormtrance is pretty weak against anything if you have range. It definitely kills in CQC. Which is kind of the point of it.

Stormtrance is purely offensive, it has very little armor, maybe as much as bladedancers, if that. The problem with stormcallers, as with sunbreakers, is that instead of shooting them people just scatter, it's really no different that any other mobile super, you are going to lose a 1 on 1 fight almost every time.

Okay, the duration is about the same as bladedancer. You can't use landfall and blink at the same time unless you use an exotic armor. A super is meant to be hard to kill but never impossible, a storm trance is hard to kill by yourself but easier with a team. However the perks in the subclass are a little bullshit and if you use the tlalock and never use your super, you can be really effective.

1 RispondiI bet you are one of the people who complained about Titans Hammers. That got nerfed for you and now you are complaining about the next super. You will never stop complaining, once they nerf Stormcaller then you will complain about Titan using their arc class, complaining about how their grenades and shoulder charge is to OP or how their range on firs of havoc is to much. You're sad...

If you think it's OP then why aren't you using it? Most of us all play all the classes. This way you can gravitate towards whatever is working at the time. Year one I preferred my hunter's supers for crucible. And who wouldn't have? Right? They were the most OP, hands down. The addition of a third subclass made Titan Sunbreakers the most OP in crucible, so which character do you think I played the most? I will give you three guesses and the first two don't count ;-) Now titans got nerfed, so I have been enjoying my warlock's storm trance. They have best super................right now. You gotta put in some time to bring them up, and even more time to get good with them. Well worth it tho. I need every advantage I can get in gaming. It's called being a "gamer."

I'm a stormcaller, I've killed sunbreakers post nerf and stormtrances, it's not too difficult seeing as how they have no over shield and don't gain health on kill, blade dancer and sunbreaker however do get those things, how do you kill a blade dancer? Shoot it, you have a primary, 3 hand cannon shots 4 mida shots 3 pulses, some auto rifle shots, it's not that hard.

1 RispondiHead shots or team shots. Extremely close range or long range. Their strong suit is mid range. And blink is really good for closing the gap. Also if you die once wait the full timer to respawn. Nothing like mashing the button only to get spawn killed by the same guy who still has a super.

7 RisposteComing from a Titan main, I feel that I should have more of a fighting chance against the damned thing than a Hunter, but that's not the case, even in super. I got killed mid-FoH from a Stormcaller. It destroyed my Bubble within seconds (with AoL). My Sunbreaker? Not even worth mentioning. I've never been one for the nerf-train but since a lot of people insist on Destiny being nerf-central and Bungie doing above-and-beyond, let Bungie have fun nerfing Stormcaller and see what kind of uproar that'll cause. It's getting annoying with nerfs and buffs. FIX THINGS and stop ruining our experience. I love this game but damn.

While I don't think stormcaller needs a nerf, blade dancer makes me sad when I play on my hunter because the super deminishes a substantial amount every time I hit the bumper.
