Now this may not be entirely relevant, but today I was 1 hit by a shotgun while using HoS, then i stuck a stormtrance with a fusion nade and it only took its shields off. Then I remember posts on the forums where people say Stormtrance has/had no damage resistance. So HoS went from too much resistance, to next to none.
Its impossible to get within shotgun range of a stormcaller so the fusion nade is the only method i've tried.

I once had a stormtrancer wiz right by me while in super an literally shotgun melee combo him. I still find em easy to kill, but I do agree HoS was hit too hard
