[b]Ember sits in a tree, softly weeping, he has a sharpened bone and he is carving patterns into his arms making the symmetrical as a relief of stress. He thinks about all he's gone through, and that makes him weep harder.[/b]

"No body died." [b]He says in a shaky voice, he chokes up, and tears swell in his eyes.[/b] "It's just, I can't-" [b]He tries to finish his sentence, but can't. A moment later he collects himself and asks...[/b] "Why are you here anyway, I thought you hated me."

I don't mean the literal dead, kid. You're stuck in your past failures, unable to escape simply because you are unwilling. I don't hate you, or anyone else for that matter. With anger comes sloppiness, with sloppiness comes failure. I do not tolerate failure.

"She's going to forget all about me, throw me away, just like my foster parents." [b]Tears stream down his face again.[/b]

What others think should not be your priority. We've all been used and abused by the system, by other people. You can't let other people determine your fate. But if you say you can't change the course of your life, you never will.

She pats him on the back and pulls out a bottle. "Im going to clean your wounds, it might hurt a bit"

"Can't hurt anymore than what I'm experiencing."

She takes a swig and then pours alcohol on the wound wiping it with a bit of cloth.

[b]It stings, and he grimaces, his eyes become fully consumes in a blue light and his veins show the same color glowing as well.[/b] [b]He begins breathing heavily, knowing very well what is happening.[/b]

She throws the cloth then pulls of the other arm and wraps it around the wounds. "There you should be good"

[b]The glow subsides, and he breathes normally.[/b] "It's happening again." [b]He mutters it but it's still loud enough to hear.[/b]
