*This is the best possible strategy for Oryx hard mode. The objective is to combine normal strat and no-knight strat. We've dubbed it "Mix Strat"* 1. Designate plates for people, 1 is the plate Oryx is on, 2 is the next and 3 is the one before the Relic. Be careful, plate 1 is difficult to control due to Oryx's constant fire 2. Designate runner 3. Have two Defender Titans with either Blessing and ToM or Weapons and Black Spindle. Decide who will activate the fourth Blight when detonating. [u][b]IF YOU ARE NOT RUNNER/AD CONTROL YOU MUST HAVE TOUCH OF MALICE[/b][/u] 4. Begin by having a Hunter Tether the thrall to generate Orbs 5. Let Oryx drop the Tear Between Dimensions and truly begin 6.[b] KILL OGRES[/b] 7.[b] KILL KNIGHTS[/b] 8. [u][b]I cannot be more clear when I say beware the ship barreling through the arena[/b][/u] 9. Hop up onto Daughters' platform where the Bubbles should be and if you need to cross, just let the ship pass before you jump 10. Take the buff from the Bubbles and help Runner kill Vessel/help Ad Control kill the last Ogre and Knight 11. DPS on Oryx. [u]Runner should never stop firing.[/u] 12. Everyone go to their respective plates while [u]one person on Ad Control goes to plate 4[/u] 13. Detonate the Blights 14. return to Runner at the center 15. Finally, keep repeating this. [u]No change occurs when Shade comes around but make sure to call out when it's slamming[/u] If your team is decent enough, you should have killed Oryx flawlessly! My typical group use this strat and we introduce it to others on LFG, and it works every time we get good people. Good Luck!
