We know how to do it. It spread like wildfire across the forums. It's still a glitch. The light level want being calculated properly. The same thing was done with taking off the primary, and the class items. Both times the slot was counted, and was a 0. But when the artifact wasn't there it wasn't counted at all, high or low. That's literally what a glitch is. A minor mistake in the programming that causes an unplanned change.
