[i] Lance, after his encounter with Raine wanders around the Pinnacle Monastery, his hand on the hilt of his swords. He wasn't exactly nervous, but how the hell was he supposed to feel around a bunch of people like this? And quite frankly, Eos intrigued him, borderline scared him.[/i]

[i] Lance leans against the wall of the Monastery, his arms crossed and watching, before speaking up.[/i] "Nice show, when are you selling tickets?"

[i]Hmmm, Lance- you're the initiate, she says telepathically.[/i] "Sadly I'm not an entertainer."

"You'd make a good one. I'm Lance, but you already knew that. Probably along with everyone else."

[i]She smiles.[/i] "I'm Aurora, but my real name's Ava Shaw. I teach other Genesis telepathy".

"Nice to meet you Ava, sorry I won't be one of your students, I'm a Watcher."

"That's interesting....I taught a watcher once- never thought I would". "We can always practice combat and other forms, as for your abilities- You would work with Helios. He's kind of the strong silent type who speaks lines from poetry".

[i] He nods.[/i] "Sounds good. Who'd you teach?"

"Evelyn, Kyler's daughter". "We haven't had anything strange like this except for Eos, who happens to be our first hybrid". [i]She begins to walk a trail.[/i]

[i] He takes a few steps.[/i] "Mind if I walk with you?"

"Of course," she says. "So why did you join our ranks"?

[i] He stuck his hands in his pockets.[/i] "I needed something to do with myself. The military wasn't me, although for 15 years it did me good." [i] He pulls his sleeve up to reveal a Delta Force emblem on his bicep, tattooed.[/i]

"Delta, the elite URNA army unit...greatest warriors on Earth I hear".

"Technically we don't exist." [i] He smiles.[/i]

"Military...our previous grandmaster served in World War 2- Ranger battalion. I remember his stories".

"What happened to him?"

"He was killed, by one of our own. He called himself Scorpion- leads the Legion now".

[i] Lance raises his eyebrows.[/i] "Damn."

"But all we can do is honor him now- just as the previous generations had done". "You understand what it's like having an old teacher...a mentor- a friend".

[i] He turns.[/i] "How'd you know that?"

"You may be a ronin, but every swordsman has their teacher". "We've all had someone we looked up to".

[i] Lance nods.[/i] "Yeah, you're right."

[i]She leads you to a hexagonal shaped building with a glass dome. Inside it, you see the armor and holograms of the previous members.[/i] "And this is where they are remembered. Students, teachers- friends, and family".

[i] Lance nods, looking around.[/i] "Which ones the previous grandmaster?"

[i]She walks to a hologram of a man clad in Crimson armor with gold trimmings.[/i] "Ryu, born 1918. Died 2184. Quite the life span. If I say so myself".
