If this only applies to characters who's origins are within the video game realm, I would take
Link from Zelda
Sly Cooper from Sly Cooper
Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank
Aqua from Kingdom Hearts
And Charizard from Pokémon
Argh there are so many amazingly intricate characters within gaming
