I remember after the initial letdown and stagnation of Destiny thinking to myself, "This kinda sucks, but the game has so much potential that I'm sure it'll only get better". And although the game has changed, I can honestly say I've lost my motivation to keep playing. I long for the days of vanilla chasing exotics rather than waiting for an arbitrary time-gate to release them. I'd rather burn through fast paced nightfalls hoping for an exotic, but still end up with an exp/rep boost for my time.
