[b]a pod set in a science museum begins to beep and opens up, a woman falls out of it and begins to gasp, just coming out of cryosleep. Her tail flicked off the bits of ice on it and her ears were flattened against her head. She had no idea where she was or what year it was[/b]

[b]A man in a black pair of cargo pants, leather jacket, and white shirt with the logo NWH on it spots you, and walks over[/b] "You alright?" [spoiler]Burner character, don't expect him to show up again lmao[/spoiler]

[b]Astrid looks at him and begins to violently cough, her lungs getting rid of the stuff in them[/b] "Y-Yeah, what year is if?"

"2205. What happened to you, and who are you?"

"I needed to escape the world for a bit, so I went into cryosleep. As for my name, I'm Astrid."

"Hold up: Astrid, wolf person, affiliated with Diana and Jess?"

"Yeah! Where are they?"

"Main base, they're very busy though. The boss would want to talk to you."

[b]Astrid nods as she stands up, her gauntlets still on[/b]

"Follow me" [b]He says, walking outside, and going into an alleyway, climbing a fire escape to a roof, getting in a green helicopter[/b]

[b]Astrid climbs after him, reaching the top within thirty seconds[/b]

[b]A familiar face is there in the helicopter, hiding under s cowboy hat and brown duster, and he looks at you two, revealing one man; JT. [/b] "Private, what did you dig up?"

"Hey JT, how has things been for the last 15 years?"

[b]He looks at you, confused[/b] "Miss, who in San hell are you?" [b]He asks with a heavy Texan accent[/b]

"Wait. You don't remember me?"

"I have thousands of people under my command. I don't remember a lot of people"

"Do you remember the woman that always hung out with Diana and Jess?"

"There were a lot, that stopped after they added another to the relationship... Mostly stopped anyway"

"Did she have a tail and wolf ears?"

"Bingo. How you know all this shit?"

"Uhhhhhh." [b]Astrid gestures to her tail and ears[/b]

"Astrid, you know I'm just screwing with you" [b]He says, slightly chuckling[/b]

[b]Astrid facepalms and looks at him[/b] "I've been in cryosleep for 15 years, I can't detect jokes right now."

"Hey, at least you survived being frozen fifteen years."

"Good point, how has things been?"

"Fūcking excellent. Got married, had kids, the NWH grew VERY large. You want a tour of the main base, maybe the Texas outpost?
