Golden gun is probably the weakest super. It's worthless in pve and there are better alternatives in pvp. Golden gun should be unlimited for a short amount of time like blade dancer or hammer of sol.

Nighthawk is perhaps the best thing for gunslingers in pve. Otherwise you're just popping off three minor enemies and dropping minimal orbs. Golden gun is useful in pvp but I feel I've had better chances killing a bunch of people at once with blade dancer and supporting my team with nightstalker.

Ward of dawn is the weakest pvp super. It can be used amazingly well on occasion, but usually gets beat out by most other supers, including GG, which uses 2 shots to pop and one left over to kill the defender

Maybe I have just run in to amazing marksmen in pvp then, because I get killed inside WoD more by GG than any other super, including HoS and Stormcaller. But I'm not great at pvp so maybe I'm just not "evasive" enough or something.
