Look, even tho Bungie shouldn't have taken these Year 1 exotics away in the first play, they still -blam!-ing listened to their playerbase and added them in.
If we didn't speak up, these exotics would still probably useless for the entirety of Year 2.
Their are a bunch of other things Bungie has put in (even tho some of them should have in the game in the first place) that the players suggested.
If no one suggested them, then they would have never been added to the game.

thats the problem. its y2 versions of shit exotics. only a handful of the ones they're bringing back are worth anything.

They could have just, you know, added an option to tack on another exotic shard to reach year 2 status. But no, first they made them obsolete so people would focus on new exotics, and once people realized those weren't as good, Bungie banked on them wanting their year 1 exotics back by re-releasing them with tiny changes in attempt to justify a re-release (that would normally just be a weapon patch). It's not like they hadn't planned on re-releasing year 1 exotics.

It's not about recycled content. It's about the fact that they time gated year 1 exotics (recycled content) in order to extend loot opportunities. Not to mention it's 3 months later. Pretty sad actually.

Wow nothing substantial to add so you resort to name calling bungie community poison at it's finest. Well it seems the children of Destiny are in need of their next lesson in constructive criticism. While I do agree that Destiny has a lot of problems that are in desperate need of fixing the noxious poisonous cloud of hate and ignorance plaguing the community forums has not been helping. In fact it would not surprise me to find that it is part of the reason the community is being more ignored. (not saying that we haven't been) However the more hate and discontent you shuffle their the more they have to sift through and the less likely they are to listen after all it is human nature to tell someone to f..k off after they have just been insulted repeatedly. Oh and before I get the I'm such and such age you should know that age doesn't make you an adult it just means you've lived long enough that you should know better.

Unlike the rest of you jaded idiots, I look at games objectively. Halo has 10 missions. 90% of those are running back and forth over the same areas shooting at bullet sponge enemies. It's simply a bad game. The story is alright, but the gameplay is god awful.

Yeah I admit the gameplay is awful but when you compare it to Halo (you never said a specific Halo) Destiny only has 1% of story and then you have to redo everything again and again and again... And Jaded mind Desticles Like you are the reason the game is getting worse each day... I play Destiny on my xbox360 but when I get on my xboxone I play Halo, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and RS Siege Beta
