How so? It's destiny, small ass maps, easy to get close to your opponents. Bullets in this game have no stopping power so you can literally run at opponents, sponging bullets and pull the trigger in their general direction, no real need for even ADS'ing and you get the kill. No weapon flinch either.

It's not easy to get close. Much harder than hardscoping at your spawn. Plus if you try to run through 1 on 1, you're probably going to die

In these maps and with the game speed and perks like blink it does make it easier for you to get close. Since you said something about camping/hardscoping, lets compare a shotgunners who camps a door and a hardscoper camping a door..I would say it is harder to get that kill as sniper than shotgunner. You still have room to miss headshot & I feel it's very hard to miss shotgun that close, imo
