Assasins Creed question.
Quick question.
Just bought Syndicate (30 bucks), really wanting to play it after reading reviews and watching some gameplay, but I've only done a handful of missions in Unity cause I just couldn't get into it.
[b]Should I just go right into Syndicate or beat Unity first?[/b]
*AC Background: played most of them except rogue. Not too concerned with the story after what they (Ubisoft) did to that blonde girl and then Desmond, but would like to know how Unity and Syndicate may be connected.

You didn't miss basically anything present day wise in unity. The whole point is they're looking for a sages location before the Templars do and you find him and he's the Templar grandmaster. Arno kills him and buried him with all the skeletons in the catacombs so there's nothing the Templars can salvage. That's literally it. You just find the location of the sages body. Syndicate is where the present day gets good again IMO. It's really cool to me how they did it in this game.
