You think the quest and rewards would be gimped. Your clueless right there do you really think old gen players can't do night falls, raids, get lvl 40 and finish the story? That's the quest and you really think old gen players didn't do all that with friends? Lmao. You are actually stupid as shit really. You didn't provide anything for facts either. All the rewards are in the kiosks on old gen and guess what! Old gen players have sparrows, emblems, emotes and shaders WHO COULD HAVE KNOWN THAT? Oh yeah everyone one but you knew that dumbass.

Honestly I feel bad for them but they can't expect games to continue to work on decade old hardware yet still be great and new, that would be like me complaining I can't play a modern PC game on a Windows 95 box computer
