I've never played Dark Souls, so Monster Hunter is going to be my pick. it's just a not-so-dark anime version of Dark Souls.

Monster hunter is not anime in any way.... And also for some reason that game makes souls games feel easy. A rathalos makes even the hardest of souls enemies feel pretty simple, and if you are use to nargacuga, all souls enemies are jokes.
