Honestly I don't know if you are serious or not, but I'm 11 hours into the game and I still haven't done 5% of the main quest, side quests alone are enough to keep me playing. In 11 hours I could do everything from getting the ship, to killing Oryx, the 3 raids, 3 night falls, and still have time to run the 3 heroics, that how much pve matters in this game.

I always love countering that with the simple argument of: "Most MMOs have tons and tons of non-grind content. Destiny doesn't." Not saying that to you, just a response to the argument you reference.
