This "fact of the book" is not a fact at all, it's totally made up. If you can prove otherwise, power to you, but yours is the minority claim, and a rather ludicrous one at that.

Awful source by the way, often takes verses out of context and misconstrues them, but of course this webpage has an evident agenda. I'm not claiming there is no violence in the Qur'an either, there obviously is, and the concept of a lesser jihad is also extant in Islam and is equivalent to that of just war. Yet war just the same. What I am contesting is the suggestion that all non-believers should be killed, something even Muhammed (the guy who wrote the damn thing) did not attempt.
