Has anyone ever received an exotic engram from the Ultras in the Taken public events...without having a ToC active? The description of the ToC's state, 'increases the chance of receiving an exotic engram...', but I'm beginning to wonder if some Ultras even have that chance to begin with. In order to increase the chance, there should already be a chance, which perhaps doesn't seem to be the case for those Taken Ultras in the public events? Maybe the ToC's should state 'gives or increases the chance...'? Out of possibly, and probably, 100-125+ of those Taken Ultras defeated (again, during the public events), I've received 12-15 exotic engrams from those particular Ultras...but only if I have a ToC active. I'd say I get an exotic to drop from them at an average of 1 out of every 4 active ToC (which is a pretty good rate). So that leaves some easily 50-75+ times, without using a ToC, with no exotic engram dropped. Not once, out of those several dozens of other times, without a ToC active, has an exotic engram dropped (I know, I know...cursed RNG). Which kind of leads me to believe that in their loot table, maybe there isn't actually a chance to begin with and that the ToC actually grants them a chance, and a pretty decent one, instead of increasing a chance that isn't there to begin with-- if that makes any sense? If there was a chance to be increased, shouldn't that very slim chance eventually produce an exotic engram without having a ToC active? Or perhaps some of those exotic engrams that did drop when a ToC was active, actually came from an 'original chance' and not from an active ToC? Could be the case, I suppose. But my question is, has anyone ever gotten an exotic engram from the Taken Ultras in the public events...without a ToC being active? Thanks
