Next destiny to be m rated
I think this will open more opportunities for a more enriched story and overall game itself the teen rating limits the amount of creativity the game developers can implement into the game which I think is also a big factor to why destiny's story is so lacklustre. Hopefully they realise their mistake and make destiny 2 mature rated, I also want to state that the teen rating isn't why the story isn't so good, bungie slack of storytelling and cut out content may be a factor to why the story is bad as well, though improved in TTK it's still not good.

Edit: blood and gore doesn't make a game 18 rated it's much more than just swearing and blood.

4 RisposteWell technically speaking that's not usually how that works. They might try and keep a certain rating in mind and cut out things as they go along but mostly games are just designed freely and THEN given a rating. Which is why a good number of games now a days have M ratings.

5 RisposteI wish we could get a few scenes of a guardian in a brutal fight so it actually feels like a fight to survive rather than a fight to keep playing. Personally thing that a cool addition would be something like the assassinations animations in halo depending on your class or something. Thats just my opinion though

Guys, M rated doesn't mean blood and gore and all that, it just means it may have more complex scenarios or themes that younger audiences might not understand, I'll still buy Destiny 2 anyways.

Honestly I dont see the difference in changing the rating, only the gore would change. Blood does not equal 11/10 ign storymode

1 RispondiIt doesn't matter. Today's parents don't care that their kid is playing an 18 rated game. Look at cod. There are more under18 ur olds that play that game than over. I'd love to see destiny be an 18, and actually stick to it, but it won't happen so it don't matter.
