I don't really play control... at all. I hate 6v6. If I do, it's for iron banner, where I'm playing with a team. All 6 players shouldn't go for an objective, that would be poor teamwork. I happen to be decent at slaying, so that's normally my job. Hell, control's primary objective is killing any way. It's a poor example of an objective gametype.
