The point is to make people aware that this isn't an okay business practice. TIME GATING IS OKAY. This isn't.
And although there's a very high chance of them coming, that isn't technically guaranteed.They haven't commented on the matter at all, you know. Might be in the next paid expansion (as happened with the FoaF/ JR and Vesta/Boolean).

Ahh. Tbh, I didn't keep up with the taken king reveals, but if they explicitly said 18 armor exotics will be in ttk & they never release the new ones, I'll side with you. But we still have months before we can confirm or deny if they're falsely advertising
