The "weirder" parts of the videos where it seems to go in a couple directions are simply 1st-stage separating from 2nd-stage and then 2nd-stage separating from 3rd-stage (where the explosive bits are located) and then 3rd-stage crashed somewhere in Nevada or Utah. If you look back to late November 5th, you'll see that the Navy cordoned off that airspace. Consequently, LAX had to reroute planes for takeoff and landing. They usually come in from the Pacific Ocean but, due to restricted airspace, could not adhere to their standard procedure for LAX. As much as I wish this were aliens or something like that, it is simply a required test to make sure freshly launched ships are mission-capable (meaning that they can use their systems effectively if the need arises) in addition to a chance for the military to wave their dicks at Russia (and China, to a degree) and tell them not to f**k with America because missiles.
