This would work if Bungie had raid kiosks, or just unrestricted weapon and armor storage. Hardcore players, the ones that grounded the old raid to collect everything, have unfortunately needed to delete much of their collections.

I'm amazed they didn't include a raid kiosk. They included the ships, shaders, and sparrows. There should be an end game kiosk. I'm getting closer to deleting my raid armor. Weapons are still relevent in PvP so I'll keep those for a bit.

I honestly feel like rather than going through the trouble of making all these different kiosks, all this programming (all apparently for collectors, even though the premise behind that is so heavily flawed in some ways)... they should just let us -blam!-ing PURCHASE vault space. Glimmer, strange coins, motes of light, who cares. That would be in my opinion the perfect fix. It's too late for me now. I've deleted the year one stuff that isn't special to me.

See that's why I think it would entice people to go back and 're raid if they did dismantle their gear. I actually kept all my raid gear from every one of those events.
