Using oryx armor and heart to kill oryx doesn't make any sense, it's even worse

Destiny's story doesn't make sense story-wise anyway.

Killing oryx several times over doesn't make sense either. I don't mean bring them back into the story, I mean increase their difficulty so that those who like the previous raid armor can wear it. I really like Crota's End raid armor. I believe that you should have a way of being able to get that gear back and infuse it. Destiny is about making your legend right? Well in that case let players have more varieties of gear to wear.

What I meant was, it would make the entire story of ttk irrelevant. If the old gear is strong enough for oryx, why did we have to out and get new more powerful gear in the first place

That's why the Old Raid difficulties should be bumped up to KF level and they should drop 280(or somewhere close to that) gear. That way the gear isn't a piece of cake to get thus meaning you can't simply walk into VoG be Atheon and walk out with gear good enough to be Oryx

Makes more sense than killing oryx once and for all, and then doing it again next week because you still need a helmet.....

Well it not a MUST that it has to go hand in hand with Destiny's story, VoG for example had no really connection to the story except for small bits here and there.
