they are not cashing in on the inadequacies of people, they are cashing in on the fact that they are cheating and running low MTU settings on their routers so they basically either can't be killed or lag/glitch so badly you either can't hit them or they take a ton of damage.
it's a fairly easy fix in the matchmaking process, you can match similar connections together, let the laggers play with other laggers.

How do you guys run into this stuff all the time. I've ran in to all of 2 teams since trials started. Ha sit ever occurred to you that maybe it's YOUR connection that sucks? Or maybe itis pairing you with crappy connections because you have a crappy connection?

Thats the response i always see so i stopped talking about it.... my connection is great 85mb sec. Open NAT etc... i run computers 4 a living i know what i am doing....

Cool. I still don't get how people seem to run into this so often. Like I said, I've seen 2, MAYBE 3 teams do it total. I even beat one of them. Not to mention destiny's servers are crap. Played a game where my team got disconnected one by one, then the enemy team disconnected, then I disconnected. Every player got a loss. It was dumb. And not the fault of any player

Ya... i dont know... was 7-0 twice and 5-0 twice this weekend. .. ran into red bar laggers every time on the following match.... proceeded 2 lose 4 in a row & be ousted every time... and we could barely cause any damage at all... guys would be right in front of us while shhoting them then totally glitch\disappear. .. then magically i would be dead from melee attack

I havent ran into a true lag switcher in a few months since before TTK on PSN. I hear XBLive is rife with cheaters though

ya, it can be pretty bad.... mainly Trials, don't notice it too much elsewhere. then you call them out on it, and they report you to Xbox.... saw the most obvious case of cheating ever this weekend when we were 7-0 and still had the mercy active, called the guy on it, he basically said whatever deal with it..... today i get a notice from Xbox saying I can't message for a week.... proves it's not worth my time anymore. they can't do anything to stop the laggers, but they can ban you for messaging someone something they don't like.... I didn't even curse or anything, it's so out of hand.

Good thing I never wasted money on a 360 or XBone.... I still need to barrow one with MC collection... I havent played any of the games past Halo 2 :(
