As much as I would like VoG and Crota (maybe even PoE!?) to be relevant again, lore wise it makes no sense. The [b]ENTIRE[/b] Taken King is based off of the idea of Oryx coming for vengeance. Also, the game has literally said we beat VoG [b]TWICE,[/b] in the Wolves' Gambit and Paradox missions. Same with Strikes. The idea of the Echo Chamber is to revive the Nexus. In the mission Cayde's Stash, we see the corpse of Sepiks Prime. Tl:Dr Lore wise it wouldn't make sense.
