Same goes with shotguns.... Idiots start shooting shotgunners when they're within arms length so they ended up crying on the forums about it which resulted in various shotty nerfs.
People need to learn how to adapt....

I totally agree. I don't like shotguns and I get annoyed as hell when I die to one but you know what when I do its my damn fault I should let them get that close or I shouldn't chase round the corner. The only thing that ever needed to change was shot package. That was a broken perk imho. The other stuff was fine. Now shotties are weak everyone and their chum is sniping and they think they're gods gift because they hard scope a doorway. I played the most boring skirmish match ever against a team on pantheon who just hard scoped the 3 lines all match. That's it. No pushing nothing. Yes you can challenge and yeah we won but f*** me if it wasn't the most boring pvp experience I've had.

This. It is ruining the game for me 3 ppl hard scoping b/c it is so easy to snipe in this game. They just post up and wait 1 person watching each entrance. Ppl can talkall they want juat extremely annoying to deal with sniping CAMPERS. That is the real issue here.
