no exotic was shown in a weekly update that we haven't gotten yet.
also, I counted 30 exotics brought with TTK and only 6 that have not dropped yet. (i think i might be wrong about arachnid, but i dont know for sure, so im counting it as a no.)

Bungie promised [i]at least[/i] 18 new exotic armors in an update.

the exotic class faction items alone count for half of that. add the 3 collectors edition class items, and i can count at least 8 more confirmed exotic armors, which totals 21.

Faction exotics don't count as armor bc class items don't count.

the faction exotics are pre order bonuses, they amount to nothing

Dead orbit cloak? FWC bond? New Monarchy mark? those ones aren't the pre-order items. but the pre-order ones ARE still "exotic" AND "armor", so technically they count.

sorry my mistake your right the faction exotics are not pre order ,but the three pre order ones for classes still don't count as they are just extra bonus stuff, just like the timed exclusive armour for PS was, or the suros armoury or vanguard armoury, just icnig the cake with stuff that really makes no difference if you get it or not

well considering twilight garrison and arachnid chest pieces are both owned by people so I don't believe one bit that they are still working on them.. People like you are the reason bungie thinks it's okay to do things like this.

obviously those ones aren't, because as you've said they exist in-game. but the others? still no word, so neither you nor I know if they are actually available, and simply extremely rare, or are situationaly unlocked, like spindle was (an exotic no body had any idea about, btw) and nobodys figured it out yet, or if it is indeed time-gated, OR if its just unfinished and/or not scheduled to be released. we've all known about FoAF for a really long time, but that doesnt mean its "time-gated" or "locked content that we paid for", its just not available yet.

no, you nor I do NOT know for sure in ANY case. despite that, being time-gated still is'nt a completely bad option. some people, like myself, have found the "time-gated" releases to be fun and refreshing, as it makes every day a possible surprise. quit acting like the voice of some is the voice of all. some people like it, some people dont.
