Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!

I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

2 RisposteYear one had more content. The taken king should have been a different game entirely. Because [i]WHAT[/i] year one content do we still want to grind for cool gear? (None) Bungie should update the raids, strikes, and POE (even patrols) to level 32, 34, 36, 38, and level 40. They should also take out all year one gear (the year one gear, like fatebringer was an issue for Bungie because it was so good, elemental primaries, etc..) and instead put in new raid/PoE gear (up to par to Kings Fall gear). Also, Bungie ffs. Give us some way to get all year one [u]exotics[/u] to a higher light level. Leaving year one content behind was the worst decision. (Leaving yr1 gear behind is fine, just give us a reason to play yr 1 content) This way we have more shit to do. -The arsenal has become broader. -We can play VoG/Crota's End to get higher light levels. (It still requires teamwork, a few wipes, good gear to complete. But rewards are better gear) -There will be more TOP TIER weapons this way. (Defiance of Yasmin, Quillim's Terminus, Smite of Merain are my top 3 for kings fall, then there'll also be an updated VoG/CE/PoE top 3 list). -We will have more to do, we can decide whatever raid we want to do to get max level.

2 RisposteIt would be awesome to rock a 310 vision of confluence or fang but then bungie would be adding elemental primaries back onto the game. How can they bring this gear back without breaking the game from their perspective? I like the challenge the new strikes and raid has without these weapon types as it stands. Just need a diversity of new content to keep things interesting. Given bungies new direction with modifiers I doubt they would reengineer the old gear into y2. Which means ce and vog will stay in y1 because the only compelling reason to do those raids last year was for the gear. And it would be the ghally all over again. Also they moved a bunch of development resources off those areas for future expansions.

Yes, especially as No time to Explain requires you to do VoG. Should have unlocked a level 41/light 260 version at the very least with year 2 drops. And the new Dark Below quest at 41/240 ends with The Awakening. What, no updated hard mode Omnigirl or Crota's End?

No and the only reason why is because most of the VoG weapons are THE BEST in the game. Every body used fatebringer not because of arc damage but because of the perks and how strong they are. Same with vision of confluence and a good number of the other guns. Barely any weapons in the game from TTK can compete with year one weapons let alone VoG weapons. Plus the perks on the armor were also top tier.

Make challenge modes with new loot tables. That way bungie is happy no one is using fate ringer but all the players r happy they can play old raids

2 RisposteThey would have to offer something but I don't think you should be top gear from them. I think the old raids are too easy and the new raid should be exclusive for new high level gear BUT , I think I've found what the old raids should offer. Since there are no year 2 primaries with burns (except supercell) I think the old raids should offer new sets of guns the have burns on them but drop at 220 and need to be ascended up but the high level gear from kings fall. These guns would all be new to keep us from recycling old weapons such as Fatebringer but allowing us a reason to bring back the old raids and for the year 2 players to actually do them and experience what they missed in year one. I feel with this it would allow us to get new guns with burns but still force us to play the new raid and trials in order to raise the light levels on these new weapons demanding the new content but also giving a refreshed feel to old raids that would come with a harder difficulty but new rewords.

Then add level equivalent gear for potential end-game gear so we have more variety and varying perks based on the raids. Mix and match synergy on gear for play style.
