Thanks for the quote. They did state that we would receive a half dozen exotic armors per class however, and I don't remember a post, PSA, tweet, quote, ANYTHING that what they were advertising mere weeks before had been sliced into a third.

Because they have no concept of how communication actually works. I think the players are doing a good job on this front, while Bungie remains mostly mute

I'm sure they knew we players would want to know that two thirds of the armor won't be available at launch. They have hundreds of employees, it certainly came up. They might have lost sales if they had announced that prior to release, so they didn't. They didn't value the revenue loss they would take as worth it, and they were right. There is a surprisingly small amount of people talking about the deceit. Forum posts are all about RNG and sunbreaker.
