I'm starting to believe the "destiny's dying" threads.

Less people on LFG, less topics on the forums, etc.

  • Yes. A game dies when even the complainers stop posting complaints, as was the case for 343 in Halo 4 PvP and MCC. Shows the Company could care less about players and the players have just given up hope for change or even meaningful Dialogue on what needs to be changed. A clear sign of this is usually the "Community Manager" keeps spouting irrelevant crap as the population leaves the game - sort of like Nero Fiddling while Rome Burns. By refusing to even mention they are aware of how terrible PvP local Console Hosting is and saying when they are considering adding Dedicated Servers, Bungie talks about Weapons parts which was an issue months ago when TTK dropped. And instead of spending money on dedicated servers, they have micro transactions for Emotes and Halloween or Live events. You want to have me come back to play Destiny, go get some Dedicated Host Servers so that Crucible isn't the laggy - host lag switched - IP local DOS fecal mess it is today. Likely the cost of these live events and the team of of people whom are patrolling Crucible / Irritated Bowel / ToO for Cheaters would pay for having dedicated servers.
