Apparently a handful of people actually do know how it works, because there is this magical thing called the internet where people go do our research for us and they give us information about things we want to know, yet some people don't bother with it, and sound like dumbasses over the Internet. Anyways, once you go and find out what AA really does, I would also like to mention here are many other snipers with higher AA than the 1000 yard stare. The reason why that is so popular is because out of all the high impact snipers, this is the easiest to get. Hereafter us a good example. It has the highest AA in game right now I'm pretty sure, why does no one complain about it? Because in trials and in game, people don't use it. Why? Because something like that is harder to obtain. It also takes away the exotic slot, my point is, many other snipers have higher AA yet no on talks about it because it's not being used. Only reason why the 1000 yard stare is being pointed out is because it is the most used sniper along with the fact that AA is looked down upon, which is usually the obvious answer to something that isn't working right.

I am talking about 1000 yard stare with a good hidden hand roll. It is just to much.

I've explained this before, and I'll say it again. Even without aim assist, players will still be able to place a bullet in between your eyebrows with their sniper since it does not aim for you like you all seem to assume. The whole aim assist controversy going on right now is just plain silly. It doesn't aim for you. This isn't GTA. It doesn't curve the bullet. Not unless it's a primary weapon or heavy machine gun, which actually does benefit from aim assist's bullet magnetism. The most aim assist will do for snipers is slow the reticle while it's hovering on a target's body, and drag the scope a bit on a moving target. The bullet magnetism aspect of aim assist is almost non-existent, even on snipers with the highest possible aim assist, whereas primaries like MIDA Multi-tool benefit greatly from it.

If you can't point at a head of your own skill, you need to find another game to play. At the very least, not as much as Destiny has it. Some console aim assist is typical, but damn, Destiny has too much. It's a friggin' hidden stat? Really? You can hit 0 aim assist and still have noticeable aim assist on Efrideet's Spear? Really? Scopes? Aim Assist? For god's sakes. No sniper sway either. Hidden hand? ... Sure, 1000 Yard doesn't have the highest aim assist. But with Hidden Hand and the right scope, it hits upwards of 80 Aim Assist. Jesus. And the reason people use it over others is because it's a high impact sniper. Perfect for all of your sniping needs. Because it's common? Yes, but at the same time, it being common because it's given to you doesn't explain all the hidden hand people I'm seeing.

5 RisposteYou know, id like to see them take out all methods of assistance in making bullets hit their target for one week. just ooooone week. So that we could see how bad ( most likely) or good ( nah we all suck) we really are, and decide from there if it was to be re-implemented.

Use a sniper for a change and you'll see that no matter how much AA you have, it still won't make you anywhere near [spoiler]average.[/spoiler]
