Everyone plays differently, sure. I had 30 pieces even with never doing Trials or Skolas and haven't done PoE. What incentive is there to get more etheric light? It doesn't even help patrolling Earth when the Taken corrupts or searching for a target. Completely worthless. There is a potential to reuse after last DLC in Y2, to upgrade to max light level for Y2 gear. We'll see. It depends on sales/revenue. If revenue is down, upgrading to higher level will require payment (like TTK as opposed to TDB or HoW), if sales are good may not require payment (identical to previous DLC).
