It was a beta. Not full / actual game. Now destiny's beta finally ended with ttk

If you knew Dice in the recent years then you would know that Dice's betas are actually demos. In their past 3 games' betas, a ton of the issues players had carried over into the vanilla game. Hence demos, not betas.
